The Open Forum is a creative and collaborative space for the exchange of ideas and strategies relevant to the work of higher education professionals at Community College of Denver. Any and all members of the CCD professional body are welcome and invited to read, contribute, and comment on the Open Forum. How to Post

The Open Forum provides professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to learn from and contribute to the knowledge, experience, and innovation of colleagues. The Open Forum is also a platform for sharing CCD experience and expertise with the wider community. 

Contributions include, but are not limited to: summary and analysis of an interesting article or book; insight from a conference presentation or guest speaker; wisdom from personal experience or experimentation; a motivational story; and so on.

Contributions made to the Open Forum should adhere to the professional standards that we abide by in our everyday work. With that being said, contributions made to the Open Forum are more along the lines of collegial discussion and brainstorming, less along the lines of professional publishing. We all have something to contribute, so give it a go!
